Hotel Almhof Lackner was built in 1974 by Hermann and Maria Wildauer. It has been run by the same family ever since it was opened. Daughter Annabella Wildauer has been the house owner since 2009.

One feature of our house, which we would love to present to you, are the numerous sculptures, which were created by our senior proprietor, Hermann.

From an early age, Mr. Wildauer pracised the craft of sculpting, first self-taught, later studying with two masters of sculpture in Gröden, in 1976.

A few of Mr. Wildauer’s special pieces are exhibited at our hotel.

Junior proprietor, Annabella Wildauer, would love to take you on a village walk through Ried – passing the Stations of the Cross which were carved by Mr. Wildauer himself - to tell you more interesting facts about her father and his wood craft.
