Village Walk

Junior proprietor, Annabella Wildauer, would love to take you on a village walk through Ried, telling you interesting facts about Ried, her father, the artist Hermann WIldauer, his wood craft and Ried’s Stations of the Cross, which were carved by Mr Wildauer himself.

Excursion to Grieralm

Our natural paradise, the alpine pasture Grieralm, is located on 1786 m in the Tux valley. It is accessible from Juns or Lanersbach within a 90 min. walk.

Enjoy a marvellous hike among the gorgeous Tux Alps mountain scenery. Enter into a wonderful world of unrefined, rustic alpine chalet charm.

Toboggan Night on Grieralm

In winter, we organise a weekly rustic chalet-evening followed by a toboggan run from Grieralm, on 1.786 m.

The 5 km slope is illuminated and it is simply the perfect way to end a hearty chalet evening with a fun toboggan run.

By day, Grieralm is an equally ideal destination for hikers and tobogganists.

As the only access to Grieralm is via the toboggan slope, there are separate access times for taxis and tobogganists. Please follow these access times in order to prevent any accidents or injuries!

Toboggan times are 13.30 - 15.00, 17.30 - 18.30 and from 22.30.

Torch Hike

In winter, we like to take you on a romantic torch hike through a stunning winter wonderland. Afterwards, we offer mulled wine and punch for children by a bonfire on our winter terrace.
